So, it is the same bunker in the forest on the
Endor moon, on the night before the catastrophe with the second
Death Star. The dark corridor in the bunker is very quiet, and
there is a little light coming from the control room at the distant
end of the corridor.
Princess Leia crept like a shadow in the darkness.
She stopped near one door, spent a few moments and opened the
door. She entered a small, very dark room. The warm air was pleasant
on her face and arms. The mysterious slack green light snatched
from the darkness part of a big bed. A man was on the bed. Leia
came closer. Her eyes shone with green and gold fire. She looked
at the man on the bed-- it was General Veers. He was asleep--
or at least appeared to be. She undressed without any noise and
climbed on the bed near him. He lay on his back, his wide bare
chest rising up and down. His breathing was very quiet and rhythmical.
Leia sat as if enthralled, looking at him. She was astonished
by his beauty-- the beauty of a mature man, who has fully experienced
life and death itself. He shone with a strange illusory phosphorescing
light, as if a weightless radiant substance from the depth of
the Galaxy had taken on density and the form of a human male body.
His face, usually icy-cold and inscrutable, was smoothed out by
deep sleep. He looked amazingly beautiful and young, with his
proud face, curve of strong neck, wide chest covered with slabs
of muscles, flat iron-hard stomach, narrow strong hips, long muscular
legs. His body looked well-built and very flexible, but when Leia
touched him with her palm, she felt a terrible, destructive hidden
force, asleep deep inside that hot male body. That was the force
of a sleeping volcano. Leia bent down to him and kissed him very
tenderly on his lips. His long eyelashes shuddered. A soft smile
appeared on his fine haughty lips, but he didn't open his eyes.
He said in friendly voice, "Have you come to visit me? I
must admit-- I was waiting for you, young lady. You really are
a very persistent girl."
Leia only kissed him more and more, keeping silent.
"So, do you want to make love with the ruthless
Imperial executioner now? It looks like the smuggler is not enough
good for you, your Royal Highness? Do you wish to hug and kiss
the murderer in Imperial uniform?" With a hateful smile he
added, "Do you like monsters?"
Leia closed her ears to his words. "Yes.
I want you. I don't need anybody else. Let's forget about the
war at least till tomorrow." She looked fixedly at him.
Now he looked at her too-- his eyes becoming very
dark and deep, pupils dilating. Very quietly he said, "Maybe
there will be no 'tomorrow' for us, Miss Vader."
"So, you know!"
"Yes."
Leia firmly kissed him again. "I don't care.
I am here and I want you." She put her palms on his chest
and hip, and a convulsive shiver shook his body.
He stroked her cheeks and hair with tenderness
and passion. "Do you understand what you are doing? This
cannot be indifferent to you! And when you will understand that,
it will be too late."
Leia said in a very firm voice, "I want you.
And that's all."
He heard well-known notes in her voice, making
him shake. He placed his hands on her shoulders and softly pressed
down. His eyelashes rose and his eyes shone with desire for her.
In the quiet voice of a doomed man he said, "So be it,"
and pulled her to himself, hugging her with force.
Close-up he saw her eyes--big, dark and motionless.
For one moment , for incredible small moment he saw in these lifeless
eyes an awful expression, sharp like the blade of a razor, with
hatred and cold horror, some premonition of threatening and inescapable
tragedy flew to his brain. To get rid of that chilling horror
he strongly pressed her to himself... He entered inside her with
all his power, imperious and relentless.
It really frightened her. She almost lost consciousness
for moment-the pain was sudden and unbearable. But his movements
were so passionate and tender, that the dark terror disappeared
without any trace and gave the place to indescribable enjoyment.
She allowed to him to do as he wished with her, and she was astonished
and delighted by his incredible experience and absolutely frank
sensual lust. Though there was no love, neither was it just a
desire for sex. It was clear, impertinent, absolutely primordial
sensual lust. But it gave her an improbable enjoyment--just what
she had wanted and never had with others. It was the sharp and
all-consuming merger of two ancient foundations in the Universe--the
Light and the Darkness themselves. He awoke her amazement and
anxiety. She felt a strange, frightening man's strength of his
bare body, hot as lava against hers. He didn't say to her any
words of love, but silently placed her under his control with
every movement. He was placing her body and her soul under his
power, just as he had done with all other people in his life before.
He wrapped her in his arms and kept the silence.
And she fully obeyed to him, to his desire, to his rhythm, to
his force. He was puzzled, amazed, even anxious. He never thought
that he would be with her. He never wanted to love her at all.
She was a princess, the daughter of Lord Vader.
Now it was all for him. Now he wished only one
thing-to hold her in his arms and to give her no opportunity to
leave. To let it last eternally. He had already stepped over the
precipice which separated them, and he found that there was no
way back. He clung to her lips and kissed her, put all the pain
of his heart in that kiss.
Indescribable enjoyment rolled up over her with
every thrust of his agitated flesh inside her body, till at last
his body shuddered in sudden convulsion. A passionate and frightening
groan escaped his throat. Yet he continued to caress her with
even more passion and tenderness. She stroked him with her palms
and physically felt the beautiful, irreproachable and perfect
lines of his body, the elasticity of steel muscles, almost porcelain
whiteness and smoothness of his skin.
He lay quietly and kept the strange silence. They
were so shocked by what had happened between them, that the enmity
had disappeared. They no longer had hatred for each other. But
they didn't have love either...
He sat on the edge of the bed, naked and motionless.
It was as if his soul had left his body. Only the tangible physical
shell still was there. His eyes were dark and cold again, as before.
Leia carefully, lightly touched his steel-hard shoulder. He looked
at her with a gloomy dark glance. He was a stranger again for
her.
"Do not ask me about anything now. Give me
some time. Don't demand me to say something to you. Let's keep
it like this, till it will be possible. Maybe I will tell you
something later. But now, please, no words. Just let's keep silent."
He rose to his feet and started to dress .
Leia followed with her eyes his quiet and confident
movements.
He wasn't looking at her. "I have to go.
It's already that time. You can stay here, if you wish, your Royal
Highness. I'll see you again soon enough." He went out of
the room.
She hid her face into the pillow. The nice dream
was finished. The night was gone. And she was not a victor at
all. Life is life.
What came next...
Setting: Executor, Vader's meditation chamber.
Vader and General Veers have a tête-à-tête.
Vader is sitting, Veers stands in front of him.
Vader: General, did you sleep with my daughter?
Veers: Yes, my lord. and I am ready--
Vader: --to marry her immediately, am I correct?
Veers: Yes, my lord.
Vader: General, you are one of the noblest and
most decent men in our galaxy, but do you have some idea about
her-- personality? Oh. I think you have it.
Veers: I-- yes, my lord. Last night--
Vader: She wanted you, she came to you, she took
you and finally got what she wanted. That is correct, General?
Veers: Yes, my lord. You are absolutely correct.
But--
Vader: She has left purple marks on your neck.
Veers: Yes, my lord. Milady was very-- mmm-- persistent.
Vader (aside): That is really my girl! (to Veers)
Very well, General. Welcome to our family!
Veers: My lord?!
Vader: Maximilian, get used it. Leia Veers-- it
sounds good to me!
(And to me, too!)
LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!!!
