There’s an extensive bio of Captain Sarkli on Wookiepedia, but be forewarned, whether it be Wookie or Wicki…pedia, those information sites are notoriously pro-Rebel. The Alliance symbol is prominently displayed in every url…a sure sign of bias!* According to that bio, a 'corrupt' Sarkli allegedly traded in his Rebel orange pilot suit for a simply smashing Imperial uniform. (We Imperial Chicks know it was the right thing for him to do! We’ll bet he was a fearless Imperial spy all along…so don’t believe that disgruntled Rebel pilot line!) As for Sarkli supposedly dying on Endor…we also bet one of you could write a better ending to his bio…like Captain Sarkli kicking Rebel butt, stomping on those annoying Ewok teddy bears, and escaping from Endor to live and fight another day! Maybe you’ve got an idea for a more exciting plot. If so, send us your story! *UPDATE: It looks as if an Imperial-minded citizen did some creative editing with the Rebel favicon in the url over on the Wookiepedia site! The favicon now sports half an Imperial Roundel where once it was all Alliance! Click on the recently revised symbol on Wookiepedia's main page and you will be taken to Wickipedia's Neutral Point of View (NPOV) policy. Hmmm. Now, if we can only get someone to edit all of those anti-Imperial bios and articles! |
