“Fear will keep the local systems in line...Fear of this battle station.” Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin

One of the earliest supporters of the Imperial New Order, Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin was a visionary who sought to quell the petty bickering and armed conflicts that threatened galactic stability.

His insightful dispatch to the Emperor, officially known as the Tarkin Doctrine, outlined a policy that would maintain control over rebellious systems by fear of force rather than through force itself.

Tarkin’s tragic death, along with the destruction of the Death Star battle station at the hands of Rebel terrorists, was mourned throughout the Empire. The Tarkin Doctrine, however, lived on…in spirit, if not in practice.
